This soft dog is a cuddly friend for young and old! For cold nights and tummy aches in the little ones, the dog has a warm cushion in its belly. But even unheated, it's wonderfully soft to cuddle with and ideal for keeping your little one company.
Heating the cherry pit cushion
Remove the cushion from the plush toy's belly via the zipper. Heat it environmentally friendly on the radiator or in the oven at 75°C for 2 to 3 minutes. The cushion should not be heated for too long or too hot! Let the cushion rest briefly (breathe) afterward. Feel if the cushion is not too hot and then put it back into the plush toy.
We regularly receive questions about whether the cushions can also be heated in the microwave. We have inquired about this with Senger Naturwelt. The cherry pit cushion can indeed be heated in the microwave provided the following instructions are followed carefully. Heat the cushion for 30 seconds in the microwave at max. 600W, then shake it well so that the heat is evenly distributed. Not warm enough yet? Place the cushion with the other side up and heat it again for 30 seconds at max. 600W. Please note: heating the cherry pit cushion in the microwave is at your own risk; always stay with it while the cushion is being heated. A microwave can get very hot in a short time. In some (older) microwaves, the temperature is not evenly distributed, and the cushion can become very hot at a certain point, causing the fabric to burn there. It's a long story, as you can read, but the safety of your little ones is paramount to us! Please note: the cushion filled with spelt CANNOT be heated in the microwave!
