WHAT IS AMBER?

Baltic amber is fossilised resin, from coniferous trees in the Scandinavian region, approximately 44 million years old. Unlike what the name suggests, amber is fossilised resin and not a stone. It is light, not cold, and feels pleasant on the skin.

WHICH SIZE DO I NEED?

Up to the age of three, you can easily choose the baby necklace with a length of 32cm. Is your child older? Then go for the amber children's necklace of 38cm. However, the length remains a personal choice as it is also a matter of taste. To see which length you like, you can cut a string to the desired length and try it on. Note: by wearing the amber jewellery, the knots between the beads can be pulled slightly tighter, making the necklace or bracelet also slightly larger.

HANDMADE

The amber necklaces are handmade in Lithuania. They are designed to break for safety if too much pressure is applied. Furthermore, each stone is individually knotted, which prevents stones from coming loose during a break and being swallowed by your child. Super nice! The amber necklace closes easily with a twist clasp.
