WHAT IS AMBER?
Baltic amber is fossilized resin, originating from coniferous trees in the Scandinavian region, approximately 44 million years old. Thus, contrary to what the name suggests, amber is petrified resin and not a stone. It is light, not cold, and feels pleasant on the skin.
WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?
Are you unsure about the necklace size? Cut a string to the relevant lengths (43, 45, and 64 cm) and try it on to see what you like. Note: by wearing the amber jewelry, the knots between the beads may become slightly tighter, causing the necklace or bracelet to lengthen slightly over time.
HANDMADE
The amber necklaces are handmade in Lithuania. Each stone is individually knotted, and the necklace fastens easily with a screw clasp.
