WHAT IS AMBER?
Baltic amber is fossilized resin, originating from coniferous trees in the Scandinavian region from about 44 million years ago. Amber is therefore, contrary to what its name suggests, petrified resin and not stone. It is light and not cold and feels nice on the skin.
WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?
Are you unsure about the size of the bracelet? Cut a string to the relevant length (19cm) and try it on. Is the bracelet too big? Then the length of the children's bracelet (16.5cm) might be the right size. Note: by wearing the amber jewelry, the knots between the beads can be pulled slightly tighter, causing the necklace or bracelet to become slightly longer over time.
HANDMADE
The amber bracelets are handmade in Lithuania. Each stone is individually knotted and the bracelet closes easily with a screw clasp.
