Please note: amber is a natural product, each bead is unique in shape and size. The stated length of the jewellery is therefore an approximation. It is also possible that the colour may differ from the photo.
WHAT IS AMBER?
Baltic amber is fossil resin, originating from coniferous trees in the Scandinavian region, approximately 44 million years old. Amber is therefore, contrary to what the name suggests, fossilised resin and not stone. It is light and not cold, and feels pleasant on the skin.
WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?
Are you unsure about the size of the necklace? Cut a piece of string to the relevant lengths (45cm and 64cm) and try it on to see what you like. Note: by wearing the amber jewellery, the knots between the beads may be pulled slightly tighter, causing the necklace or bracelet to become slightly longer over time.
HANDMADE
The amber necklaces are handmade in Lithuania. Each bead is individually knotted and the necklace closes easily with a screw clasp.
