Make your own wooden boomerang from Kids at Work. Paint the boomerang, saw it out, and throw it!
Always throw the boomerang in an open space. It's important to first determine the wind direction. Hold the boomerang at an angle of 10-30º and throw it at a 45º angle into the wind. If all goes well, the boomerang will come back to you!
Please note: to make this boomerang, you will need a fretsaw, file, sandpaper, drill, and possibly paint.
