Product Description

How lovely is this hand-braided Moses baby basket from the French brand Noro Paris! The basket is great for the first few months after your little one is born. You can keep your baby close to you in the basket. A nice and protective feeling for both baby and mum and dad!

Due to transport, the basket may be slightly out of shape on arrival. You can easily and quickly restore this by wetting the basket (with a plant sprayer) and shaping it. Keep the handles dry.

Please note: to be used from 0-6 months. Do not place your child in the basket once they can roll or sit up. Always place the basket on a stable surface and ensure the handles point outwards.

The photos where you see the basket in combination with wool blankets were taken by Hvid. They make the softest wool blankets for newborns. Highly recommended. You can find them here, should you wish to take a look: Hvid blankets.

Washing instructions

Please note: This item does not need to be washed before first use. After the knitting process, the material has already been carefully cleaned. In addition, wool is naturally self-cleaning, which means it generally does not need to be washed often. Simply airing it outside overnight or hanging it in a humid bathroom is often enough to restore its fresh scent. If the item has a stain, you can easily spot-clean it with a small amount of gall soap (do not use regular stain remover, as it can damage the wool fibers).

If the item needs to be washed, hand washing only is recommended. Gently move the item through lukewarm water (maximum 20°C / 68°F) without rubbing or wringing it. Make sure the water remains at the same temperature throughout the process. Use a mild, natural wool detergent and do not use fabric softener. After washing, gently press out excess water with a towel, reshape the item, and leave it to dry flat (do not dry it on a radiator or in a tumble dryer).

If you choose to wash the item in a washing machine, you do so at your own risk, as we cannot guarantee the individual programme settings of washing machines. Wash the item on a wool cycle (do not use the hand wash or delicate cycle) at a maximum temperature of 20°C / 68°F. Select a low spin speed, preferably no higher than 400 rpm. Use a mild, natural wool detergent and do not use fabric softener. After washing, gently reshape the item and leave it to dry flat (do not dry it on a radiator or in a tumble dryer).

This item was washed during the production process for quality control purposes and to ensure that it retains its correct shape. Any shrinkage that occurs afterwards is the result of an incorrect washing programme (for example, using a hand wash or delicate cycle instead of a wool cycle), the use of an unsuitable detergent (too harsh or not specifically designed for wool), a washing temperature that is too high, or an excessively high spin speed.
