With a lanolin wool treatment, you care for wool clothing or make wool diaper covers and wool wraps water-repellent. Wool naturally contains lanolin. When washing clothes, a little of the lanolin is always washed out of the wool. The lanolin wool treatment returns the natural wool fat to the wool, and the clothing is again well protected against dirt and moisture.
How do I wash my wool clothing with Lanolin?
- First, wash your wool clothing with wool detergent;
- Dissolve 2 tablespoons of lanolin in 1 liter of lukewarm water (25°C);
- Carefully place the clothing in the lanolin bath and gently move (wash) it through the lanolin water;
- Let it rest in the water for a few minutes;
- Remove your clothing from the water and gently press the water out of the clothing between your flat hands, do not wring;
- Let your laundry dry flat on, for example, a towel. Out of direct sunlight and not on the heater.
