Product Description

Newborns and young babies cannot yet retain their body heat well. They lose a large part of their body heat through their heads. We can help them with that! A tie-on hat keeps their head warm, reduces stimuli, and provides comfort. The long ties are fastened on your baby's chest. This way, your child won't be bothered by knots under the chin or a hat that doesn't stay on properly. The seams of the Cosilana tie-on hat made of wool, silk, and cotton are flat, making the hat soft and smooth on your child's head.

COSILANA TIE-ON HAT FEATURES

– The long ties keep the tie-on hat in place
– The combination of silk, wool, and cotton keeps the head warm
– Soft fabric
– High wearing comfort
– Available in four different sizes and colors

Sizing

In our experience, Cosilana tie beanies run a bit small. It is best if the tie beanie fits snugly around your baby's head. You tie the long cords across your child's chest so that the hat stays in place when your child moves. Thanks to the flat seams, the tie beanie lies flat and softly around the head.

Washing instructions

Please note: This item does not need to be washed before first use. After the knitting process, the material has already been carefully cleaned. In addition, wool is naturally self-cleaning, which means it generally does not need to be washed often. Simply airing it outside overnight or hanging it in a humid bathroom is often enough to restore its fresh scent. If the item has a stain, you can easily spot-clean it with a small amount of gall soap (do not use regular stain remover, as it can damage the wool fibers).

If the item needs to be washed, wash it on a wool cycle (do not use the hand wash or delicate cycle) at a maximum temperature of 30°C / 86°F. Select a low spin speed, preferably no higher than 400 rpm. Use a mild, natural wool detergent and do not use fabric softener. After washing, gently reshape the item and leave it to dry flat (do not dry it on a radiator or in a tumble dryer).
