The Taika 1 is made of untreated birch wood. If you wish to treat the shelf, choose hardwax oil or water-based paint. All Taikas are handmade, uniquely numbered, and stamped. Two brass screws and two plugs (6 mm diameter) are included so you can easily hang the Taika anywhere.
