WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Wool is self-cleaning, so the scarf does not need to be washed often. If the scarf has a stain, the easiest and best way to clean it is to spot clean it. Wool also likes to hang outside overnight or in a humid bathroom, so it smells fresh again! Still need a wash? Then hand wash the scarf. Use a small amount of wool detergent and lukewarm (not cold!) water of maximum 20ºC. Avoid squeezing, wringing and rubbing and gently press the water out of the wool between your hands or a towel. Drying flat gives the best result, as wool shapes itself to how it dries.

Washing instructions
Please note: This item does not need to be washed before first use. After the knitting process, the material has already been carefully cleaned. In addition, wool is naturally self-cleaning, which means it generally does not need to be washed often. Simply airing it outside overnight or hanging it in a humid bathroom is often enough to restore its fresh scent. If the item has a stain, you can easily spot-clean it with a small amount of gall soap (do not use regular stain remover, as it can damage the wool fibers).
If the item needs to be washed, hand washing only is recommended. Gently move the item through lukewarm water (maximum 20°C / 68°F) without rubbing or wringing it. Make sure the water remains at the same temperature throughout the process. Use a mild, natural wool detergent and do not use fabric softener. After washing, gently press out excess water with a towel, reshape the item, and leave it to dry flat (do not dry it on a radiator or in a tumble dryer).
If you choose to wash the item in a washing machine, you do so at your own risk, as we cannot guarantee the individual programme settings of washing machines. Wash the item on a wool cycle (do not use the hand wash or delicate cycle) at a maximum temperature of 20°C / 68°F. Select a low spin speed, preferably no higher than 400 rpm. Use a mild, natural wool detergent and do not use fabric softener. After washing, gently reshape the item and leave it to dry flat (do not dry it on a radiator or in a tumble dryer).
This item was washed during the production process for quality control purposes and to ensure that it retains its correct shape. Any shrinkage that occurs afterwards is the result of an incorrect washing programme (for example, using a hand wash or delicate cycle instead of a wool cycle), the use of an unsuitable detergent (too harsh or not specifically designed for wool), a washing temperature that is too high, or an excessively high spin speed.
