Product Description
The Glerups Shoe is a soft, comfortable slipper made from 100% natural wool. The low-cut model fits snugly and feels light and supple on the foot. The wool breathes, keeps your feet comfortably warm, and prevents them from getting too hot. The rubber sole is flexible and sturdy at the same time – ideal for comfortable walking indoors.
The story of Glerups begins over 30 years ago in Denmark when founder Nanny made the very first pair of slippers as a declaration of love to her husband Ove. Since then, all slippers have been carefully produced in their own factory, using a unique wool blend that is soft, itch-free, and durable.
CARE AND LIFESPAN OF GLERUPS
- Air your Glerups regularly; wool cleans itself.
- In the first few weeks, the slippers may shed a bit, this will stop naturally.
- Carefully remove stains with a damp cloth and (organic) wool soap, allow to dry thoroughly.
- Vacuum them clean. Leather soles can be brushed, rubber soles can be wiped with a damp cloth.
- Wool is a natural product; small color differences per batch are normal.
- Avoid pressure and friction on the felt upper (e.g., crossing feet). The felt is pure wool: soft and comfortable, but delicate with friction.
- Wear Glerups with a leather sole only indoors and on dry surfaces.
- For use on damp floors or outdoors: choose a model with a rubber sole.
- Please note: soles made of leather or natural rubber can be slippery on wet surfaces.
- With proper use and care, your Glerups will last for years!
