Amber Kids Necklace 38cm - cognac oval

The beloved amber necklaces. Did you know that amber necklaces are not only lovely to look at but also have a wonderful function? Amber provides a pain-relieving effect when teeth are erupting. This is due to succinic acid, which is released by the warmth of the skin. Great for when your son or daughter is teething.

WHAT IS AMBER?

Baltic amber is fossil resin, originating from coniferous trees in the Scandinavian region, approximately 44 million years old. Amber is therefore, contrary to what its name suggests, fossilised resin and not a stone. It is light and not cold and feels pleasant on the skin.

WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?

Up to the age of three, you can easily choose the baby necklace with a length of 32cm. Is your child older? Then go for the amber children's necklace of 38cm. However, the length remains a personal choice as it is also a matter of taste. To see which length you like, you can cut a piece of string to the desired length and try it on. Note: by wearing the amber jewellery, the knots between the beads may become slightly tighter, causing the necklace or bracelet to become slightly larger over time.

HANDMADE

The amber necklaces are handmade in Lithuania. They are designed to break for safety if too much pressure is applied. Also, each stone is individually knotted, which prevents stones from coming loose and being swallowed by your child if the necklace breaks. Super great! The amber necklace fastens easily with a screw clasp.

SAFETY

General safety regulation: "Children under three years of age should not wear jewellery unsupervised by adults. Because it contains small parts." This also applies to wearing amber necklaces.
