Amber Kids Necklace 38 cm - Rainbow

The beloved amber necklaces. Did you know that amber necklaces not only look great but also have a wonderful function? Amber provides pain relief during teething. This is due to succinic acid, which is released by the warmth of the skin. Great for when your son or daughter is teething.

WHAT IS AMBER?

Baltic amber is fossil resin, originating from conifers in the Scandinavian region, approximately 44 million years old. So, unlike what the name suggests, amber is fossilised resin and not a stone. It is light and not cold and feels pleasant on the skin.

WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?

Up to the age of three, you can easily choose the baby necklace with a length of 32cm. Is your child older? Then go for the amber children's necklace of 38cm. However, the length remains a personal choice as it is also a matter of taste. To see which length you like, you can cut a string to the corresponding length and try it on. Note: by wearing the amber jewellery, the knots between the beads can become slightly tighter, causing the necklace or bracelet to become slightly larger over time.

HANDMADE

The amber necklaces are handmade in Lithuania. They are made to break for safety if too much pressure is applied. Also, each stone is individually knotted, which prevents stones from coming loose during a break, which your child could swallow. Super nice! The amber necklace easily closes with a screw clasp.

SAFETY

General safety regulation: "Children under three years of age should not wear jewellery without adult supervision. Because it contains small parts." This also applies to wearing amber necklaces.
