WHAT IS AMBER?

Baltic amber is fossilized resin, originating from conifers in the Scandinavian region approximately 44 million years ago. Amber is therefore, contrary to what the name suggests, petrified resin and not a stone. It is light and not cold and feels comfortable on the skin.

WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?

Up to the age of three, you can easily choose the baby necklace with a length of 32cm. Is your child older? Then go for the amber children's necklace of 38cm. However, the length remains a personal choice as it is also a matter of taste. To see which length you like, you can cut a string to the relevant length and try it on. Note: by wearing the amber jewellery, the knots between the beads can be pulled slightly tighter, causing the necklace or bracelet to become slightly larger over time.

HANDMADE

The amber necklaces are handmade in Lithuania. They are made in such a way that they break for safety if too much pressure is applied. In addition, each stone is individually knotted, which prevents stones from coming loose during a break, which your child could swallow. Super nice! The amber necklace easily closes with a screw clasp.
