The balls can be combined with the wooden rainbow board (great for developing fine motor skills!), but can also be used endlessly for crafting or during open-ended play. For example, at our home, the balls are used as ingredients during 'cooking' or as cargo in the wooden trailer!
The balls have a diameter of 1.5 cm and are handmade in the traditional way by Nepalese women. They work according to Fair Trade guidelines and receive full support to earn a living with their craftsmanship. The wool used for the balls is obtained in an animal and environmentally friendly way.
