This soft monkey is a cuddly friend for young and old! For cold nights and tummy aches in the little ones, the monkey has a warming pillow in its belly. But even unheated, it's wonderfully soft to cuddle with and ideal for keeping your little one company. The plush toy comes in two sizes: small filled with cherry stones and large filled with spelt.
Heating the cherry pit pillow
Remove the pillow from the plush toy's belly via the zipper. Heat it in an environmentally friendly way on the heater or in the oven at 75°C for 2 to 3 minutes. The pillow should not be heated for too long or too hot! Afterwards, let the pillow rest briefly (breathe). Check that the pillow is not too hot and then place it back into the plush toy.
We regularly receive questions about whether the pillows can also be heated in the microwave. We have checked this with Senger Naturwelt. The cherry pit pillow can optionally be heated in the microwave provided the following instructions are followed carefully. Heat the pillow for 30 seconds in the microwave at max. 600W, then shake it well so that the heat is evenly distributed. Not warm enough yet? Place the pillow with the other side facing up and heat it again for 30 seconds at max. 600W. Please note: heating the cherry pit pillow in the microwave is at your own risk; always stay with it while the pillow is being warmed up. A microwave can get very hot in a short time. In some (older) microwaves, the temperature is not evenly distributed, and the pillow can become very hot at a certain point, which can cause the fabric to burn there. A long explanation, as you can see, but the safety of your little ones is our top priority! Please note: the spelt pillow CANNOT be heated in the microwave!
