With the Boston babywearing jacket from Mamalila, you’re perfectly equipped to carry your baby outdoors, from spring through autumn. The coat is lightly water-repellent (drizzle-proof), windproof, and wonderfully warm, ideal for transitional seasons. Keep in mind that carrying your child will always make you feel warmer. If you tend to get warm quickly, the coat can even be used in winter. If you get cold easily, wear an extra wool layer underneath to stay comfortable.
BABY INSERT
The included baby insert can be used for both front and back carrying. It features an adjustable cord for a snug fit around your child, and the neck protection can be folded up or down. Snap buttons at the bottom of the coat provide extra space for your baby’s legs or for your pregnant belly. Please note: the baby insert does not carry your baby; a baby carrier or wrap must always be worn underneath the coat.
PREGNANT
If you’re pregnant, you can make the coat roomier by opening the snap buttons on the sides. If it still doesn’t fit perfectly, the baby insert can also be used as a maternity insert by tightening the drawstrings.
BACK CARRYING
Do you want to carry your baby on your back? Slightly roll up the hood and tuck it behind your neck so it stays out of the way.
FIT
This coat has a relaxed fit.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
The coat can be machine washed on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30°C. Use a mild, natural detergent and avoid fabric softener.
