With a sponge and turpentine, it is possible to 'watercolour-paint' a drawing made with these oil crayons. The crayons are square but have a pointy tip for outlining or two-dimensional drawing and shading. Since the crayons don't contain any wax, they slide very easily over the paper. The crayons come in a reusable cardboard pouch.
